Two Clubs Chasing Reds midfielder?

|

Tribalfootball is reporting that both Juventus and Inter Milan are chasing the signature of Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva. The Brazilian played in the embarrassing Carling Cup defeat to Northampton Town on Wednesday night, and it seems unlikely with the arrivals of both Raul Meireles and Christian Poulsen that he will be a first team regular at Anfield. Juve are said to be interested in the 23 year old because he could be a like for like replacement for former Reds midfielder Momo Sissoko who is interesting Steve McClaren’s Wolfsburg. Inter Milan are also said to be interested because Rafa Benitez is looking for another option after losing out on Javier Mascherano to Barcelona.

You lot are tossers. You use Lucas as a scapegoat for all our defeats and ignore any good performance. You should support our players or keep your mouths shut. Roy will make whatever decision he thinks best at the time.

Guess this is why fans are not managers! They think they know better than those paid millions to coach players.

Let swap Lucas for Momo Sissoko. Momo is better. Lucas is being use wrongly because he is more used to attacking football from his time in Brazil.

Rafa and Roy are a defensive manager, therefore, Lucas cannot function well and Lucas cannot defend. So, not to said Lucas is not good because it is Rafa and Roy fault because to use him in defensive midfielder. And, the instuctions for defensive midfielder from Rafa and Roy is just pass upfield and relied on Torres and Gerrard to score. That’s is tactic from last season and this tactic is still used this season (Agger also complaint on the tactics)

At present Lucas is not playing well in Reds shirt. Maybe Lucas can become star by wearing another shirt. Who knows. His move from Liverpool is good for both club and for him. For Gods sake dont criticise Roy. He needs time. Five league matches where he fields his main players cant understand them. he needs time. But he must win against some poor clubs. I think we have chance to win more under him
