Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has refused to rule out more signings during the January transfer window. Speaking to Liverpoolfc.tv, he said:
“We’ve got to trust in the players because until January we can’t do anything about that. We changed formation two or three times (against Blackpool), there were several attempts to change things around. We had Dirk Kuyt playing as a front player, then we moved him wide and moved Joe Cole in. We moved Meireles into the centre and brought on another wide player. We did what we could with the players we have available at the moment, but we are a little bit short of out-and-out front players at the moment, and of course we lost one of the most important ones near the start of the game.”
Hodgson has time to regroup with the international break before a crucial Merseyside derby in Liverpool’s next Premier League fixture.

Liverpool definitely need to get two or three quality players what the hell is Roy saying.
Lets hope he isn’t here in January to have the opportunity to waste any more money.

Roy , a nice bloke you are and a true gent. You do not deserve the abuse being directed at you. However , the Liverpool supporters expected to see a more positive approach when you were appointed but yet we still see a negative , narrow approach which is so famillier to the style of the previous regime. we expect pride and passion , I recall the days when the Kop used to chant attack , attack not just to chase for a goal for a 1-1 draw but to finish teams off in style!!!
Please show more endevour for your sake or I can only imagine the worst. Come out fighting and if needs be , go down fighting but this abject protective , cautious approach is winning nobody over and is certainly not winning games.

there is still 3 months to go until january, but don’t worry saying their not good enough now won’t affect them at all. they will still play like the demons we’ve seen already.
