Liverpool snap up Bolton’s Harper

|

According to Tribalfootball, Liverpool have taken Bolton Wanderers Scout Alan Harper onto their scouting team. Reds boss Roy Hodgson was looking for someone who possessed great knowledge of the domestic game, and the former Liverpool and Everton player was seen as the ideal candidate. In recent years under Rafa Benitez with Eduardo Macia as Head Scout, Liverpool have had greater success in scouting foreign talent and Hodgson has given Harper a senior position to scout for players in this country who are good enough for the first team. The website believes that Harper will report directly to Hodgson.
