Reds Chairman has TWO backup options to avoid administration

|

The Independent is reporting that Liverpool chairman Martin Broughton has two backup options up his sleeve if Liverpool lose their court case against the American owners this week. According to the paper, a source has told them that there are “Plan B” and “Plan C” fallback options in existence that could force through a sale without the club going into administration. Martin Broughton said as much himself last week when asked if the sale could be blocked:

“Well, we have to win the court case. So effectively yes, if they win the court case they can block the sale. But then we may have one or two other thoughts in mind as well.”

According to the paper, these plans will aim to prevent administration by extending the October 15th deadline for the loan repayment and allowing some convoluted legal mechanisms to play out to force a sale. The RBS are really trying hard to find ways to prevent the club going into administration as they realise that it could lead to a points deduction which could have a detrimental effect on the club’s sale price.

I would not worry to much, One thing that will happen no matter what is that RBS will get their money back, H+G have been moved into a corner and have been out played, it might not be straight forward over the next week or two but they will be gone one way or another.

As for the moaning by the clowns about loosing £144 million, well i cant believe any Judge in the country will not see that they is no difference between this and the fact that if i was to own a house that needed the roof repairing, i could not claim that when i sold the house that i had lent the money to the house (myself) for the repairs and now i want it back!

    Its deal done chaps

if those two idiots had put that £144m into the club in the first plaace, we wouldn’t have been paying all this money out in interest and would only have a manageablr debt against the club plus £120m of players

Imagine if we had bought Tevez to go with Torres…

Unfortunately due to the long and complex nature of the judicial system this case could take months with H and G getting retrials.
Thus possibly stalling long enough to refinance lets hope they dont do this but that is the likelyhood, do not expect a January budget just yet.
To me the bank may have no option than to put the club into administration to finish these clowns for good.
