Reds defender signs new deal

|

Liverpool centre back Jamie Carragher has signed a two year contract extension keeping him at Anfield until 2013. Carra will turn 33 in January and the contract will most likely see him remain at his schoolboy club for the rest of his career. He has appeared 641 times for his club and is currently sitting sixth on Liverpool’s all time list of appearances. Carra has so far won 10 major honours during his time at the club including two FA Cups, two League Cups, a UEFA Cup and the UEFA Champions League.

carra is a legend, NO DOUBT! but i too believe he is past it, i was hoping his new deal would’ve been as player/coach, with the emphasis on COACH and only play in lesser tournaments or when really needed! i hope the owners find agger a new partner in january, preferrably cahill or shawcross
