Rumoured Liverpool target Reto Ziegler is keeping his options open after stating he will not sign a new contract with Sampdoria yet. His current contract with the Italian Club ends in June:
“Anything can happen, this does not mean that I cannot sign my renewal with Sampdoria. I never said I wanted to go, but I will not talk contracts yet. It is due to expire, true, but now I think of giving everything to this jersey at least until June, then we’ll see what happens.”
Both the Reds and Juventus are said to be interested in the Swiss left back, and he would be available for free next summer on the Bosman ruling.
