According to Tribalfootball, Liverpool are being linked with bids for Udinese’s Gokhan Inler and CSKA Moscow’s Keisuke Honda. Roy Hodgson is apparently rivalling Arsenal for the signature of Japanese attacking midfielder Honda and his agent Kees Ploegsma believes CSKA should sell him in January:
“Hopefully they (CSKA) will decide to sell Keisuke in January. He would like to leave for a big European club.”
The Livepool is also believed to be looking at Swiss international Inler as a replacement for Lucas Leiva who looks set to leave for Inter Milan in January.

What is the source for these speculations? Guess you make up rumours and then say there are rumours of these thoughts of transfers?
Never heard of Inler to be honest, and I really hope we don’t fall into the trap of signing a player – Honda – who had a decent World Cup, as he is bound to disappoint.
If we let Lucas go, it would be a very stupid move on our part.
These are not the type of players they need.
Never heard of Inler?! Jesus. We have been heavily linked with him for the past couple of years. And Honda as well for that matter. Both are young, quality, international midfielders who would improve our squad.
I’ve seen both these players play a few times for their clubs and although I think both are decent players, neither will really improve our squad greatly. I think Mata would be a good signing and a realistic one too. Theres actually alot of good defensive midfielders up for grabs like Diarra, Martinez.
What we need is 2 attacking wingers and another quality striker, nothing less. They are the 3 most important positions we need to fill!!

I am surprised that some people in here thinks it would be stupid to let Lucas leave. The sooner he goes the better for us; for me.
But I sure hope whoever is our manager in January he gets players that are class and in positions where we lack that apparent class.
