Amoo: “He’s been class since he came here”

|

When asked in an interview about his most skilful teammate by Liverpoolfc.tv, Reds reserve winger David Amoo replied:

“I’ll have to go for Suso. His skills are incredible. If your legs are open for even half a second in training, he will meg you – I’ve been on the receiving end of them so many times! He’s been class since he came here. He’s quite small, but he’s so nimble. He gets into pockets of space and if you’re playing up top, he will always find you. If you’re out wide, he’ll slide a pass for you into space or find your feet. He’s great to play alongside.”

When asked about his career high so far, Amoo said:

“Getting my first-team debut at the start of the season when I played against Rabotnicki in Macedonia in a Europa League qualifier. It was an amazing experience to play in front of a crowd of that size, even though they were pretty hostile. Soto, Skrtel, Lucas and Aquilani all played in that game, so there were some international players alongside me in the line up and I enjoyed it. I think I did alright for my first game and it’s definitely the high point of my career so far.”
