Agent: “No comment” regarding Juve rumours

|

When asked by Italian website calciomercato.comĀ about rumours linking his client with Juventus, Liverpool centre-back Daniel Agger’s agent replied:

Agger has been sidelined with a calf injury since an international match in October but Dr Peter Brukner believes he will be back before Christmas:

“Daniel’s injury is an unusual one. In the international game, he got a kick on the calf, and sometimes when that happens you get some calcification in the blood clot that forms there, and unfortunately that has happened in Daniel’s case. Only time heals this sort of injury, so we just have to be patient with Daniel. But he’ll definitely be back before Christmas.”

I hate to think that Hodgson’s trying to get rid of him. Although he’s quite injury prone, he’s a fantastic centre back when fit and it looks like he’ll be back by Christmas anyway. It also doesn’t make sense considering that Carra’s out for three months so we will definitely need Agger during this period.

No team would ever buy a player who’s injured….oh wait.
