Itasportpress is reporting that Liverpool are considering a bid for Inter full back Davide Santon. The 19 year old has had limited playing opportunities this season but returned to the starting line up back in November. The report suggests Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson may make a move for Santon if Glen Johnson departs the club in January, and with Santon weighing up his future at Inter, the Reds could be in pole position for his signature as Hodgson has a close relationship with Inter president Massimo Moratti. Itasportpress have also mooted that Ryan Babel or Dirk Kuyt could be part of a swap deal for Santon, who can play either at right or left back.

Glen is going nowhere.the rumours about him leaving are false as both hodgson and johnson rubbished these rumours 1 month ago.probably the media didnt read that and they can go and read the archive from liverpool’s official site.but santon would be good for the left back position.Reina-Johnson-Skrtel-Agger-Santon-Gervinho-Gerrard-Meireles-Cole-Kuyt-Torres.please sign someone with pace in midfield or attack.Torres needs support up front.also a 4-5-1 with gerrard behind torres,gervinho and joe cole on the wings and lucas-meireles midfield partnership would be very good.

Santon is a promissing prospect and i think we should take a chance on him. Yes, glen johnsons is great going forward but lacks in defence. Lets get the youngster, get rid of babel and get a proper winger
Santon has had a very ordinary season i certainly would not pay too much as he is young, but has not convinced many that he is up to it.
