Rumour Mill: Reds after £5m forward?

|

The People is reporting that Liverpool are interested in bringing Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge to Anfield on loan in the January transfer window. The 21 year old has not made a single league start for the Blues this season and manager Roy Hodgson is said to be seeking a temporary move for the former Man City player as he looks to shore up his options in the striker department. The paper also believes that if the loan move goes well, they would look to secure Sturridge on a permanent basis with the Reds having to pay £5million so the young forward can make the switch from Stamford Bridge in the summer.
