According to Marca, Real Madrid are looking to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios in the January transfer window. Head coach Jose Mourinho is looking for a striker signing to make up for the loss of Gonzalo Higuain to a back injury, but the Spanish club will be competing with Manchester City, AC Milan and Liverpool for the Paraguayan. Barrios has apparently been a long term target for the Reds as the Merseyside club look for a good foil for Fernando Torres, and Man City are also looking at Barrios as a possibility with Carlos Tevez looking to leave the club. The 26 year old has scored eight goals this season and Marca believes the player could be available for £15million.
This week it is former Liverpool player Danny Murphy’s wife Joanna Taylor!

This is the problem with the club and in general lfc.
If we keep buying two bit player who just because have had a couple of good games then we would have the biggest team in the world.

fanni is 29 and has never been inline for a big club, why would spend another 3 million on another 29 year old whi gives us hardly any contract worth, have you not been listening to our new owners?
why would you spend a whole load of cash on a guy like wolfswinkle when you can get turan, joaquin, mata and young for the same money .
untill fans like you stop wishing players to arrive in the hundreds and at any sight just becasue these are the names in the gossip papers then liverpool will continue to buy s***e players based on the fact that they have had about half a good season at best in order to get a move to a club like lfc???dear god when are some fans going to wake up whats needed?????
Well Samuel Charles, Toivenen is scoring quite a few goals and able to play lone striker, Wolfswinkle is a young striker in line with what the new owners want but you can forget him after last night and he would not cost loads!, even though I think we should give Pacheco a chance! Aahley Young is good enough for the wing, Turan I would like but it seems Roy is not interested in trying for! It also seems that Mata was mentioned but not by Roy and would cost quite a bit!
My list is reasonable and JUST A SUGGESTION as we are all entitled to make! If you think Charlton Cole, David Bentley or Wayne Bridge is the way forward then maybe you need to wake up!!!
And of course as a supporter I, along with many others just wish that we make the most of the players who are available and are quality enough unlike some of the players we are linked with!
