Fergie: “We couldn’t handle Charlie Adam”

|

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson admitted they couldn’t handle Liverpool target Charlie Adam in the first half of United’s match against Blackpool. Talking about his team’s first half display, in which they went in 2-0 down at the break, Ferguson said to ESPN:

“In the first half we were battered. We couldn’t handle Charlie Adam. His corners alone are worth £10 million, but we were terrible. I don’t know the reason for the first half. We were all over the place. Maybe we were too confident.”

Adam assisted both goals from corners with headers for Craig Cathcart and DJ Campbell, but the Seasiders couldn’t hold onto their lead as goals from Dimitar Berbatov and Javier Hernandez secured a 3-2 win for United.

This week it is former Liverpool WAG Joanna Taylor!

Fergie can go f*** off. If he likes Adam so much then he can have him. Give Ian 15 million and keep your mouth shut.

  • Torres9 says:

Old Purple Nose still try to wind us up. Do you reckon he was saying this while Ollie was sucking him off?

  • Chambers says:

He’s simply attempting to wind people up. I really think we have no need of Adam in an already packed midfield. The money best used for Stricker/wingers/Defender..

  • Phil J says:

Well then that would put me off buying him straight away as a Liverpool fan. Let see AF put his money where his mouth is £10M plus I don’t think so, this more like I’ll help another one of my sycophantic PL managers.

Fergie should shut his face! He is obiviously trying to wind us up and make us pay over the odds for Charlie! No more than 7mil at the mo! But he has handed in his request so lets not turn this into a Gareth Barry saga! Lets get Suarez now then think about it later we may be happy enough by then! YNWA!

your all wrong – he ran rings round us twice and was the best player on the pitch last night too – instead of getting emotional – look at the facts – he is an exceptional player

    • darren says:

No you’re wrong jonesey, Adam is a good player but this is Ferguson just being a cocky test as usually.

  • Ralphie says:

The grumpy old fart always sticks his nose where it dosen’t belong. He should be minding his own business especially with the fixtures he has got coming 2xChelsea, City, liverpool, Gunners etc. etc.

  • ajay says:

i agree he is a good player and fergie knows it. fergie is playing games with us. he is talking about a player in which we are interested, WHY?.he knows that our KING is back and he is influencing Ian so that the latter maintains a high price of his player. and fergie knows well that LFC will not increase its bid anything near 10 million pounds.Lfc will spend wisely and miss out the player.
Dont waste your time fergie we dont need him and we our KING back we are on the right track.
