Redknapp: “Kenny is the king, he’s not a magician”

|

Former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp has encouraged Liverpool’s owners to give manager Kenny Dalglish some money to spend in the transfer window. Writing in his column for the Daily Mail, he said:

The spotlight is now on Liverpool’s new owners: what will they come up with to help Kenny Dalglish? There were signs of some improvement yesterday and Fernando Torres played well. But Liverpool need strengthening in central midfield and they need another goalscorer. Kenny is the king, he’s not a magician.”

With two weeks to go in the January transfer window, the Reds have yet to make a signing.

This week it is Liverpool fan Caroline Wozniacki!

You need to be a magician to turn a team with Kuyt and Maxi as your wingers (and Lucas & Meireles as your “ballwinners”) into a fluid, attractive, dominant team.

All it takes is some common sense to remove Kuyt, Maxi and Skrtel from the starting line-up though…
