The People are reporting that both Liverpool and Birmingham City are keeping a close eye on Watford striker Marvin Sordell. The 19 year old has scored nine goals this season, including against Portsmouth at the weekend, and has managed to establish himself in Malky Mackay’s side this season after making his way through the club’s youth ranks. Sordell was sent out on loan last season to Tranmere Rovers to gain first team experience and impressed enough for Mackay to give him first team action at Vicarage Road this campaign. So far this season, the teenage striker has shown he is more than up to the task, attracting interest from Liverpool and Birmingham.
