We’re nearing the end of the 2011 January transfer window and Premier League managers are searching high and low for bargains. So I thought it would be apt to look back at the Top Ten Premier League Transfer Bargains Ever.

Those players that didn’t quite make the list but deserve honourable mentions are Brad Friedel, Mark Schwarzer, Nicolas Anelka, Mikel Arteta, Antonio Valencia, Wilson Palacios, Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg, Kolo Toure, Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic. Such is the way with lists like these, I’m bound to have missed someone out, so if you can think of anyone deserving of a place on this list, post them below.

I’m sure that this list will drum up some controversy and heated debate, so without further ado, here are my top ten Premier League steals of all-time…
