Spanish newspaper AS believes Barcelona are willing to sell Liverpool target Ibrahim Afellay. The winger only joined the club in January after a €2.2million move from PSV went through with only six months remaining on his contract. AS is reporting that Liverpool are prepared to pay five times what Barca paid for the player, roughly £9million for the 24 year old, and the Catalan club are interested in cashing in on the player. The paper states that the final decision will be coach Pep Guardiola’s but as the winger has yet to start a league game, there is a possibility Barca will look to make it a tidy profit on the player after just six months.
