Liverpool have had their fair share of flops and extremely poor players over the years. The once hallowed red jersey became that little bit less special during the doomed Graeme Souness era of the earlier 90s and each manager that has taken the helm since has had to contend with their fair share of transfer stinkers too.
Sometimes players fail to live up to expectations, others fail to go on and justify their hefty price tags yet there are those that are just so much more than that, those players that were just so god awful to begin with that their negligible contribution was noticed by all and sundry. Here is my worst Liverpool starting eleven in recent memory.

Some certainties in the team. Some harsh picks. My 11 from last 20 yrs would be: mike hooper, Paul konchesky, nicky tanner, torben piecnick, josemi, diomede, cheyroux, Stewart, kozma,, Dundee and diouf. Understand the pick of Erik but could never choose a cult figure like him!
Put Charles Itandje in goal for a start!
Salif Diao and El haj Diouf deserve mentions.
Utter tosh,it should players that had extended runs in the side that should be on that list,half the players there never got the chance to prove themselves,Utter garbage like Lucas,Maxi,Ngog,Diouf etc should be gracing that list instead of Diomede,and Arphexad
Intandje, Konchesky, Degen, Piehcnik, Nunez, Stewart, Diao, Dossena, Diouf, Voronin, Cheyrou. I could pick soooooooo many more. Did this lot really play for our great club. It still defy’s belief!!!!!!
