Sport Vigilio are reporting that Roma defender Philippe Mexes is ready to reject offers from England, including Liverpool, to sign for Serie A rivals AC Milan. The French international has been in talks with Roma over extending his contract which expires at the end of the season but he has been offered a sizeable wage packet by the Rossoneri to join the Milan club. According to Sport Viglio, Mexes will earn €4.5million a year at the San Siro, and the 28 year old feels the offer is too good to refuse despite apparent interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.
