Shakhtar Donetsk full back Darijo Srna has confirmed that a number of clubs, including Liverpool, are interested in his team mate Douglas Costa. The Croatian international stated:
“I’ve never seen such nimbleness – he is on a par with Messi. His speed with the ball and technique are out of this world. I know many scouts have watched him. Lots of clubs are taking an interest – the likes of United, Manchester City and Liverpool. He really does stand out, he makes a difference on the pitch. Douglas can beat three players with ease. This boy is hugely talented and is certainly a player destined for a big club.”
The 20 year old attacking midfielder’s reputation is growing fast and the former Gremio star could be leaving Donetsk sooner rather than later.
