On our side, however, is the fact that City will have one eye on an all Manchester semi final. Yes, all Manchester. I said it and wasn’t sick. Oh incidentally, who else is considering boycotting Sky Sports now that Gary Neville has been recruited? Man, I hate that little Shakespeare-beard-wannabe idiot. Who wants to listen to his biased views, particularly now that we don’t have to listen to Andy Gray fawning over Man Utd every attack?
Let’s leave Neville and carry on with my optimism for today. We have to win this one and I fully expect Dalglish to go with both Suarez and Carroll. Whilst Kompany has really matured this season, I still think that they’d be a handful for even Adams and Keown. I am gutted, however, that one of the many players I’d love to see in a red shirt is back in time to face us; Adam Johnson. The guy has a great touch, great vision and loves to run at full backs. A worry considering Jamie is probably going to deputise in this match.
Let’s try and be unbiased here. City haven’t won any of their last 5 away league games and I’d be amazed to see them line up in the same attacking way that they did so successfully against Sunderland. If they do then we’re in trouble, but I expect them to rely on Barry and Milner instead of the bevy of strikers Mancini went with last time.
We can do this. 2-1 my prediction (Carroll to get both incidentally!)
