Kenny: Reds will be spending some money this summer

|

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has reiterated that whoever is charge of the Reds after the end of the season will be handed a sizeable transfer kitty by the owners. Speaking to Liverpoolfc.tv, he said:

“I get asked this every day and it’s the same answer. But regarding the owners, they are fully committed to bringing in new faces and spending money on the playing staff, so whoever has the privilege of managing the football club is also going to have the privilege of spending some money.”

King Kenny also praised the performances of the youngsters who played against Arsenal yesterday:

“Flanno (John Flanagan) is experienced, that was his second game! Sometimes the second game is the worst to play in but he did brilliantly today. Young Jack (Robinson) coming on – he’s still available for the youth team next year. He adapted really well. It’s really daunting to play at the Emirates against a team chasing the championship. It was fantastic, the way he went about his work. Jonjo (Shelvey) did fantastic, and wee Jay (Spearing) was fantastic on Monday and turned in another great performance today. We couldn’t ask for any more from them. It’s them that’s pushed us. I don’t make that decision, they do. In the last year and a half the development and improvement in the Academy has been fantastic. We’ve also got to be really careful that we don’t throw them in and ruin them. That was a slight reservation about Jack playing at the Emirates, but he never let anyone down.”

    Think from what I hear that Aquilani, Degen, El zhar and Aurelio, Poulsen, Jonvanovic, Konchesky will all go.

    If it was me I would add, cole & maxi, and Insua too.

    Its common knowledge that enrique wants to come to Liverpool, in fact I would say that a fee has been shaken on, around 9.5 million if I now my mate’s right abount newcastle, he normally is?

    thats good money for a player like jose enrique, who is another aurelio, great left foot but quicker, good positional play and will not be a hassle, he is a great player to have for team spirit, gets on very well with andy carroll too, plus he can pass the ball and stays fit,-.

    id like to see a left sided wing back added to the team, that would give us proper depth in quality in the whole team and id like to see;

    CONETRAO ADDED, he can do everything, play out wide, play in a 4 at the back or in a 5 across the back, he is young, has pace can pass and again would be right in their because he is best mates with our raul.

    then id like ashley young in on the right, but again he plays down the middle too, and out wide left also, great for options.

    id like moussa sissoko in for a pwoer house player in the middle.

    i dont rate cahill, hes well over rated and i would go for sakho, hes 21, with pwoer and pace and for me is ready for a move.

    if we are going for it id alsom like a frontman who can drift out wide and be a creative player, either cavani or lavezzi would do me,

    add all the young guns and with all players fit for next year, then liverpool would come in top 4 with ease, but if we dont buy 4-6 new players then we will not do much next year.

      we dont need two left backs and definitely not coentrao who’s way too overpriced at 25 mill..
