Alberto Aquilani’s agent Franco Zavaglia has confirmed that Juventus have failed to take up the €16million option to sign the midfielder from Liverpool. Zavaglia is still hopeful that a deal between the two clubs can be agreed. He told Radio Sportiva:
“We’re waiting to see how things evolve. Juventus didn’t take up their option to sign him, but I’m still confident because I think that Liverpool are ready to do a deal. I believe an agreement will be found eventually.”
Zavaglia has reiterated the possibility of Aquilani returning to Liverpool:
“He’s still a Liverpool player and if an agreement with Juventus is not reached then he’ll respect his contract. Liverpool are one of the best clubs in the world. I’m not interested if Juventus are looking for [other] midfielders as I don’t think they are well covered in that area. He’s had an important season and has been present. It’s not true that Aquilani is always injured and he’s proved that this term.”

i would take him back as it is one less player to sign, he is a good player with good technique which is what we need with quick passing into feet. personally i wouldn’t sell him to juve for a penny less than agreed!!!!
To completely P Juve off, after Aqua man has had such a good season for them, we should up his asking price to 18M euros.
