Comolli ‘huge admirer’ of Northern Irish International

|

According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool’s Director of Football Damien Comolli is a huge admirer of West Brom midfielder Chris Brunt. Baggies boss Roy Hodgson wants to offer the Northern Irish international a new contract to ward off the likes of Liverpool and Aston Villa, who are also believed to be interested, according to the paper. Hodgson made the 26 year old captain when he first arrived at the Hawthorns and is keen to keep him part of the team’s plans as they head into next season in the Premier League.

This week it is former LFC WAG Jennifer Ellison!

Agree with these comments, in fact if the ssaeon is to be punted I would argue that Shelvey, for one, and those like him who are in the squad more for cover should be loaned out as cover is less relevant when the importance of turning one point into three diminishes in importance. The team should also keep sharp for another Wembley run- why not, right? What a shame they could not beat Arsenal, though. Outside of Chelsea at the start of May (and even including them given their current turmoil but will give the benefit of the doubt to a ‘big club’) all the club’s remaining fixtures are potential three points. A win over Arsenal and a run of form could have seen a string of wins over lesser sides to put real pressure on fourth but we can thank RVP for dashing those ideas.TimC
