French Radio Station RMC is reporting that Liverpool Director of Football Damien Comolli is interested in St Etienne’s Idriss Saadi. The striker is only 18 years of age, and is a French youth international. Comolli was previously Sporting Director at St Etienne before he arrived on Merseyside and is a keen admirer of Saadi’s talents, according to RMC. The player has already made his debut for the senior team, but has yet to score his first Ligue One goal. It is believed the youngster could cost as much as £5million.

We do need first teamers like moussa sissoko, m’vila, aly cissoko, mata, jovetic, hulk, etc etc etc but we do also need to spot the talent early like commoli did with bale, and that takes a risk.
