Rumour Mill: Reds Winger Target decided on future?

|

The Evening Chronicle is reporting that Wigan winger Charles N’Zogbia is ready to return to his old club Newcastle United. The Daily Mirror reported on Wednesday that the Frenchman was at the heart of a “six-way tussle” for the player’s signature with Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Sunderland, Juventus and the Mapies all interested. Newcastle manager Alan Pardew attempted to purchase N’Zogbia on the last day of the January transfer window with money from the £35m sale of Andy Carroll to Liverpool, but two bids were turned down by Wigan. It now seems however, according to the Chronicle, that Pardew will finally get his man in the summer with 5 other clubs missing out.

This week it is former Miss World and LFC fan Rosanna Davison!

I said that we should’ve bought him in January and haven’t changed my mind – him, Elia or anybody else of that level would be great as secondary widemen behind a headline signing like Mata, Sanchez or another proven player of that proven calibre…

Don’t rate him if he’s choosing Newcastle ahead of us then that tells you he’s either
    A an idiot
B we only see him as back up or
C we were never in for him.
My bet is C as nobody outside the club knows whats happening and that is very good

Liverpool must sign N’Zogbia as soon as possible. The guy is just a class act. He’s single-handedly rescuing Wigan from relegation. He has pace, can cross, has got fantastic dribbling skills and can score goals as well. He can play on either side of midfield and as an attacking midfielder. 10m for this guy is a bargain and Comolli and Kenny should do everything they can to sign him. Plus, he could cost even less if Wigan get relegated.
