TOP TEN ‘Turning Points’ in this Premier League Season

It has been revealed this week that Manchester United, the new Premier League champions and record 19th title holders, have also topped the television income league, receiving £60.4million in total broadcast income. Twenty-six of United’s 38 games were televised, just ahead of Chelsea, last year’s champions, who played 22 times in front of the cameras.

But as Alex Ferguson decides on how to spend his money this summer, let’s take a look back at the season just passed and some of the defining moments which not only swayed the direction of the Premiership trophy, but also turning points which affected clubs throughout the League table….
