After reports in the Daily Mail that that Liverpool are interested in Barca pair Bojan Krkic and Jeffren Suarez, reports from Italy today suggest the Reds could be interested in a third player from the club.  According to SportItalia, Liverpool are rivalling Roma for the signature of Barcelona B striker Jonathan Soriano. The 25 year old is expected to leave Barca this summer and has been tipped to join his Barca B coach Luis Enrique at Roma. The Reds could be about to scupper a move, according to the report, with a offer of €10million for the player who scored 32 goals in 37 games in Spain’s Second Division last season.

This week it is LFC WAG Michela Quattrociocche!

  • Who????
Just buy Enrique, Afelly, Dann, Hazzard and Benzema.

  • nigel says:

its incredible how many players lfc are linked with because of our new owners and this being our first full transfer window!

  • Chris says:

How is a B team striker who is 25 worth €10m?

  • Jay says:

    Liverpool will sign:
Wickham (worth 6 million) Livpool will pay 12 mill
Henderson (worth 8 mill) Livpool will pay 20mill
Dann (worth 5 mill) Livpool will pay 10 mill
Adam (worth 7 mill) Livpool will pay 10 mill
Enrique will cost and is worth around 7 mill
Downing (worth 4 mill) will cost 12 mill

We will get wripped off again but these 6 will improve our squad and will play the dalglish way.

Dont be silly with talk of Hazard, Afellay and Benzema. if VORONIN!!…Goalkick was manager we would be the new Arsenal, all silk no substance

These are the only players Liverpool can attract, all are from lesser clubs and most of them British, be realistic

    • niall says:

I have to actually dissagree with your valuations of those players.
Wickham I will give you as I dont know much about him but the deal is 10 million by all accounts.
henderson = money plus Ngog total deal 20 million is still expensive but not to dear.
Personally think Dann is a cracking player and 10 million is a snip for an established young english premier league player.
Adam, I really dont see the point in him at any price. Enrique will cost approx 10 million which is really expensive for a player in his final year however we need him more than they need to sell and again 10 million for a proven premier league players is good business as apposed to Contreau at 25 million!!
Downing easily worth 10 million but not convinced he is good enough.
will agree we cant even think about top top players untill we are back in the champions league

  • Eric says:

This is rubbish. If he’s good enough then why is he still playing in the Second Division at 25? Why isn’t he playing for Barca’s first team? Anyway, Kenny and Comolli are only interested in overrated and overpriced British players like Carroll and Henderson and they probably haven’t even heard of this player before cause they’re so naive and short-sighted when it comes to scouting players.

    • D Aris-Sutton says:

“they’re so naive and short-sighted when it comes to scouting players.”

Really? would you mind re-posting, perhaps with details of your credentials and experience in football? I find it pathetic that people will throw out insults about others abilities in thier chosen professions based only on their own predudices.

Only rtime will tell if the deals they are doing will be worthwhile in the long run and if they have made mistakes then so be it, all managers have there fails, even the so called “Sir” Alex has his fail share of Djember Djember, Obaton and Bebe fails

    • Andy says:

Eric while I agree Carroll was overpriced, it’s the situation that little spanish traitor left us in. He’s probably a £20 million player given his age, nationality and form before he joined us, to judge him on a few matches for us is silly, he’s not been fully fit and has to settle into a new style of football and new teammates. How can you judge Henderson? The lad has cost £13 million plus N’Gog, who most would view as no more than £4 million, so for a capped England international who’s 20 and is tipped to go to the top of the game we haven’t done bad considering people know we’ll splash the cash. And as for your slating of us signing British only players I’d agree if we were but we’re not Suarez and Doni (if he comes) are both South Americans. forgive me but I trust King Kenny’s judgement more than yours

      • Liverpoolian says:

Andy I agree with you carroll was overpriced and was on form and we had little time to make time coz of that little traitor left us again carroll wasn,t fully fit if you want to judge him why not watch the game he was fully fit versus man city where he scored brace and one of them was cracking YNWA

    • Paul says:

He’s rubbish at all mate. Don’t forget Charlie dam was the same age playing for Blackpool in the Championship, or Mascherano sat on a bench in an average West ham team. Saying that if we sign Conor Wickham then whats the point

  • Rob says:

If lfc want to move foward they need 1or 2 established players and 1 of those should be world class. At the moment we are gambling £SSS on prospects I just hope we are willing to spend £35m+ on a class player or 2 Ageuro fits the bill

  • Ashok says:

Pace pace and pace i have watching lfc for last 18 years and we seriously lack pace. We need 2 pacey wingers. I do not mind their nationality or price i only want king to buy at least 2 top class wingers.

  • Paul w says:

This has all been said before when dalglish rebuilt the team in the 80’s only Beardsley was looked upon as proven. Do you want young talented players with bags of potential and hunger or a load of 28 year olds looking for their retirement fund like city found out?

I trust Kenny and comoli is no fool either, just watch us tear apart teams next season with Pace stamina and aggression!

  • Heres Hoping says:

Its kind of ironic that we invest in two strikers for Torres, saying 35m for Carrol was perfectly justifiable given the situation, and yet Carrol only ended up playing two full games for us and looked half the player that 22m Suarez looked. Could have bought Carrol for 20m now (still ridiculously overpriced)and it would have had no bearing on how we ended the season.

And now we sign Henderson for around 20m? What?
I understand the importance of buying british home grown and whatever but seriously this is insane.

What LFC needs….what it REALLY needs is another okay at everything world class at nothing, type of midfielder…more hard working grafters with average first touches and negative mindsets going forward. If we get enough determination out on the field than we can accomplish anything right?!….right?

Its like a bad Disney sports movie.

    • Paul says:

      Ever been to Anfield??

Clear evidence you have no idea whatsoever as to what Liverpool need. Kenny is no idiot, he’s been there and done this before.

You should consider buying a Man Utd shirt if your gonna slag off our players before they’ve really had any chance to prove their worth

      • Eric says:

What’s ever been to Anfield got to do with this? Many Liverpool fans have never even been to England before, let alone Anfield but they are just as loyal and passionate as those who watch games at Anfield regularly.

  • Paul says:

Good player, but i’d rather have Connor Wickham, plus we’ve Suso coming through.

Other than that i’d go all out for Sissokho lb, Mata rw, Downing lw, Dann cb and Charlie Adam if we can get him cheaper than they wanted in Jan

  • Pharj says:

But y not aguero(m35)? More okay and proven than carrol!

  • Joe campbell says:

Think all of you need to wake up any player rated over 10 million is a complete joke, the price of players is ridiculous now days and just face it buy a player and he’s not good enough so what! Move on, look at fernando Torres 50 mil one goal enough said. what ever kenny is doing it’s the right thing for L.F.C YNWA .

  • Rob says:

Ageuro would be great he’s only 22 has great feet, aggressive,GOALS&will play with heart. Similar mentality as our fantastic mr saurez but maybe will score more. Not saying he would come but I wish we try & yes he does have a love 4 lfc which would be a bonus. A combined attack of Ageuro,Carroll&Saurez would hurt any team no matter what level 4 me I see 1 of the most complete attacks maybe the best

  • Karim says:

Paying £20m for a player now is like paying £5m for a player 10 years ago.

You are all living in a dream world if you think Henderson is cheaper than £20mil.

British players are like a piece of decent fillet steak cooked medium!

I trust KK and whoever he signs ill believe in.

Its more than just the player, its how they adapt to living in Liverpool, are they consistently good home and away, what kind of person they are, what is their attitude towards football.

How do you know we havent already approached players like Mata and Aguero but perhaps their attitude hasnt been “I want to play for Liverpool”,

Thats the difference between them and who KK has signed. Suarez, Carroll, Henderson – they want to play for Liverpool. Lucas WANTS to be at Liverpool. Pepe, Johnson, Gerrard and co, they want to play for Liverpool.

So back the team 100% or piss off up the road to Man U.

    • Rob says:

Ive back lfc the last 30year the last 2 years watching us play has nearly killed me the season we came 2nd we need to invest in 1or2 game changing players we didn’t and look. I believe we are on the up and to wish 4 1or2 class acts which a club like LFC should have does not want support the mancs.come on an attack of Ageuro,Carroll&Saurez what aint lfc fans aloud to wish or dream

  • Rob says:

I guess that’s means I should have backed Hodgeson&a certain left back that come with him? don’t forget poulson I sit next to Agger alot of time
