Liverpool maybe put off bidding for Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas Marcelinho as the Brazilian club were said to be unwilling to sell the player. According thr Brazilian football website Lance!Net, the Reds were prepared to bid up to €9million, but the player, who is also interesting Milan, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Villarreal, will not be allowed to go for such an amount as Sao Paulo have already lost one youngster Lucas Piazon to Chelsea. Lucas Marcelinho is said to have a buyout clause set at an astonishing €79million.

Lukas leiva is a mighty fine footballer who has adapted perfectly in2 lfc, his had an outstanding season an this lad is rather a mighty promising talent

lucas leiva has got better every season and he was good at his role last season. He is still young and was an attacking mid anyway when we brought him in. He was gremio player of the season.
