According to The People, Liverpool may have a fight on their hands to keep hold of First Team Coach Steve Clarke. The paper believes Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants to see former Blues player and Assistant Manager Clarke return to Stamford Bridge and fill the position vacated by Ray Wilkins. Clarke only recently signed a new deal to stay at Liverpool and work under Kenny Dalglish so any approach would seem to be far off at the moment.

He won’t leave hes a longtime friend of Kenny, obviously if he wants to go back Kenny won’t stand in his way, but i just can’t see this happening. Since Clarke and Kenny have come in the team has improved and im sure he wants to finish the job hes helped to start by winning the title or a cup next season.
Even though hes recently signed an extension contracts are not worth the paper their written on these days and with Romans billions he can afford to pay compensation. However i can’t see it happening the clubs and fans loyalty and praise to Clarke since hes been at the club has been emmense.
Chavski should have called him back after West Ham got rid of him they showed no loyalty to their former coach and left him without a job, they can piss off now……YNWA
