Liverpool’s new third kit for the 2011/12 season was unveiled last night. According to Liverpoolfc.tv, the kit “is white, cyan and black in colour, with the inclusion of cyan blue a throwback to Liverpool’s first ever home kit back in 1892 which incorporated alternate white and blue halves.” What do you think of the new kit?

Nevermind the colour, even if it was red it looks disgusting. But since conspiracy theories are floating around above about adidas, my 2p would be more likely to point to standard chartered pushing for this to match their logo.
That’s the colour….go on the Standard Chartered Website and it’s the same colour as the background. I suppose it would look even better on an Asian player!!

I actually think the colors are similar to Satndard Chartered’s colors. Which is not a bad gesture in itself.

ok, questions to be asked of this; when are the lads ever going to wear it? we have a black away kit, no team in the prem has a black home shirt, and we arent in europe… why do we even need a “3rd kit” at all this season? the trouble is that standard chartered have blue and white as their traditional corporate colours, and so it makes sense for them to have our reds decked out in their corporate colours on our forthcoming tour of asia… however if the club’s website offered us all the exclusive opportunity to buy the “official replica shirt of our lucrative tour of asia”, i dont think they’d sell too many…

It’s only a blue trim… we had 3 kits in a row with Reebok with navy blue on, we won the fa cup in navy blue shorts nobody was moaning then, won’t be buying it tho
It’s a nice design but red stripes would have been better than blue. We should never wear blue, it looks like a citeh strip or an old manure away top.
Adidas have had us over in revenge for the warrior sports deal. Someone’s head should role in the marketing department
