A slightly different translation to the one found on Skysports.com, Cristian Zapata has told Colombian radio station La FM that Liverpool and Bayern Munich are “real possibilities” for a transfer. This Translation was taken from goal.com:
“I have some options. Bayern Munich and Liverpool are two real possibilities for me. We are pretty close to those clubs and those are my options and I hope they come true. I haven’t heard much from Arsenal, that possibility seems to be at a standstill at the moment. The Liverpool option is the most serious one.”
Zapata plays for Udinese, and can either play at centre half or full back.

Zapata is not a bad player and I dont think he would be lying about a club having interest in him.
He could save Liverpool some money by not overpaying every player their bring just because he is english.
Liverpool needs to have enaugh home grown players but not all home grown players at expense of quality.
