2005 Champions League hero Luis Garcia has signed for Mexico club Puebla on a free transfer. The former Liverpool winger’s contract at Greek club Panathinaikos had expired and he has signed a one year deal with the Mexican team. Puebla president Ricardo Henaine was delighted at the 33 year old’s signing:

“He is a great player, an international player and there has been a great effort from the board to bring the player to the club. It gives us great satisfaction as he will strengthen the team.”

After departing Liverpool, Garcia played for Atletico Madrid, Racing Santander and Panathinaikos before joining Puebla.

This week it is former LFC WAG Abigail Clancy!
