Sky Sport 24 in Italy are reporting that Roma keeper Alexandre Doni is close to sealing a move to Liverpool. According to the report, Roma are expected to accept an offer from Liverpool today and allow Doni to travel to Merseyside on Wednesday. He will then discuss personal terms, take a tour of the facilities and have a medical on Thursday before the move is finalised. He will become backup to Reds number one keeper Pepe Reina.

This week it is former LFC WAG Abigail Clancy!

Goalkeepers usually play for much longer than outfield players anything up to 40 Years old so doni could have upto 9 years left in him.

great. A GK (how many games has Pepe NOT played in the last 2 years?) to go with our 16mil midfielder.

There is something seriously wrong with our transfer policy if we can find £35m for Carroll but none for actual positions where we have no players.

I think Comolli and King can’t agree. Comolli or King will leave before next season.

THis guy is quality. As captain of the indian cricket team he has guided them to number one in the world. I have watched him on tv standing behind the stumps making numerous impressive dives and catches. I am not sure about his intakian heritage. But who cares he will be quality for Liverpool. ???
