Liverpool forward Dani Pacheco has stated he is unsettled at the Merseyside club:

“I hoped for a lot more (at Liverpool); why should I deny it? I was told I was going to have opportunities; quite simply, if they don’t give me more opportunities, I am very clear I want to leave. Above all, I want to play and if I have to leave to do that then there will be no problem. Some day I would like to return home. If it happens, it happens. Logically it’s a disappointment to see that you don’t have any playing time. But in such a situation all you can do is work and I hope to have minutes in the Under-20 World Cup to demonstrate what I am worth.”

Pacheco spent the last part of last season on loan at Norwich City, but according to the Liverpool Echo, manager Paul Lambert is looking to trim his squad, rather than add any players to it, meaning Pacheco is unlikely to return to Carrow Road.

This week it is LFC WAG Alex Curran!

Unfortunately , Dani , although your opportunities have been limited , you have not exactly grabbed them with both hands . You are not as good as you think you are and , in the UK , you are probably mid-championship standard .

Good luck , son , and thanks .

Unfortunately Ritters, you don’t watch reserve football to make a comment based on what you read or hear! When Dani set up N’gog over a year ago with a brilliant header in a Euro cup match, he was sent back to the reserves and played only a few cameo’s after that!…His short cameo’s show that he moves the ball upfield and looks for the open man or shot! He’s shown more than Jonjo has and Jonjo has played 10 times more than he has!..I hope he moves on and does really well! He deserves it, because ‘Pool allows some of these kids to rot in the reserves just like Chelsea and ManCity!…I hate to say it, but we need to be more like ManUtd, Arsenal, Tottenham and others who really “blood” their youth and assess them in lots of min’s of game action to determine their worth!

i agree with you mate..i dunno why but i feel pacheco deserves a chance to play for the first team. players like lucas, ngog gets plenty of chances to proove themselves but still they are under average. i feel players like pacheco, aquilani should also be treated the same way! i hate to say this but KK is just adapting to the british talents..for e.g. carroll – 35 million?? hederson 16 million? downing 20 million? we will find out how much hes worth after the coming season..i hope KK made the right decision!

Ritters I agree to an extent, I think Dani has all the skill, just not the build and strength to handle the English game.

Personally I’d Loan him out to a Premiership club this season and see what happens.

I hope that a year playing for a team likley to be in a relegation fight will show us if he’s got the strength to make it at LFC.

Look at Luis, he not much bigger than Dani yet he puts himself about abit, doesn’t get knocked off the ball and has all the skill.
