Liverpool striker David Ngog will not be leaving for Sunderland due to his wage demands, according to the People. According to the report, the fee of £5million plus £50,000 per week wages are just too much for the Black Cats and Steve Bruce has dropped his interest in the Frenchman. Ngog was said to be reluctant to leave the Reds for the North East despite Liverpool willing to lower the transfer fee and also offering to pay part of a signing on fee to move him on to Wearside.

This week it is former LFC WAG Abigail Clancy!

  • red sonny says:

If you think you can get 50K a week elsewhere then think again, your deffinately not as good as you seem to think you are, in fact call the boy a taxi and send him on his way.

  • fADZ says:

i dunno whats wrong with guy..this guy is not even close to where he think he is! when he plays,he looks like a girraffe running around the park!
if i were the manager i would even let him go for free! hes not worth a penny but just a major flop found by benitez!

me thinks thou doth protest too much Horatio!

‘Major Flop bought by Benitez’… complete and utter tosh!

He was bought at 19 for £1.5m.
He has scored 19 goals in about 90 appearances, although only 37 have been starts.
He has scored some great and important goals for us. He is worth more now than we paid for him.
The lad has lots of talent, and can go farther in the game.
I would agree that he is not worth £50k a week at this time, but if Brad Jones is worth £40k and Konchesky £60k, ‘wash’ is worth £100k!

HE LOOKS THOSE NINJA TURTLES! LOL

  • ste says:

Can’t stand him, one of the worst strikers to ever play for us, nice one Rafa yer whopper!!!!.

poor player worth a swap for a grifter or chopper but must have a pack of bazooka chewys as part of the swap though.

Some of the comments are just BS from so called Liverpool supporters – sad. Give Ngog a chance. He has scored some important goals to keep the Reds alive. He may not be key player but a good sub.
Obviously many think that money will grow from trees and so easy to buy a player? First many good players want Champion League and Liverpool can’t offer them this coming season. Second, you think a good striker will want to play second fidle to suarez and caroll? Dream on.
By the way I have supported LFC for 33 years.

    • fADZ says:

i appreciate u been a fan for 33 years but just want you to know we were one of the top four teams in the premier league before 2 years. do u you want to know why we went down?? coz other teams like city and spurs have the so called “quality” players bought in the team. Its not that we dont have the money but if we have players like NGOG,POULSEN,Cole in our team and given higher wages to these guys who dont deserve even 20K!i dont see any chances for us to win any silverwares next season! we need to be were we lie and the solution is only getting rid of these players and bring in some quality to oue squad coz if not then we will see players like suarez, meireles leaving next summer! for. example:- Torres was with us for 3 years, we dint acheive anything so he left.

      • RedStrike says:

It was a matter of poor ownership and the manager wasn’t able to fully develop the team. Yes we were a top 4 team and had been playing champion league. We were even 5 times winner in the competition. However, if you really look deeper, is it really these players that cause the issues? He is only so young. Do we really have money? The previous owners had brought the club to one of the lowest point. The new owner is rebuilding. As fans and supporters we have to be patient. Rome is not built in a day. Cheers!

  • Dan says:

He hasn’t been as bad as people make out and will improve under Kenny, he is ok for a back up striker and has scored important goals for us. But end of the day he is still our player for now so back him rather than put him down, and there are a lot worse strikers around than Ngog

  • njanja says:

Sib i’m with you all the way

  • dave says:

He is only 22 for crying out loud… Hodgson gave him his first proper run of games and he didnt do too badly. I think it is harsh that everyone is so down on him.. Think back a few seasons and you will see the same poeple slating Kuyt and Lucas who are now arguably two of most consistent players.

Do I think Ngog should stay? No, I don’t but I do not think he deserves to be classed in the same group as Poulsen, Konchesky and Cole who have been in the game for years. I am sure that Ngog will have fairly good career ahead of him and if he stays at Liverpool I am sure Kenny will get the best from him.

Either way he is a Liverpool player and has scored important goals for us. I wish him all the best whichever way it goes.

  • Lfc4LifeR says:

He will be a success wherever he goes…
Iv always watched him as a lone striker for us and on each occasion Iv counted how many times he’s lost the ball…..
    the answer is hardly!
More often than not he would hold the ball up for the rest of the team to join and when that wasn’t possible he would win a foul!
He does everything you would expect of a target man and with game time and more experience he will be a more clinical in front of goal I’m sure….
I for one hope he stays!
