Aston Villa are said to be interested in Liverpool forward Milan Jovanovic, according to the Daily Star. The paper reports that Villa manager Alex McLeish is keen to keep the Serbian international in England and is even prepared to pay a fee for the Reds flop. Jovanovic stated last week he has been given permission by Liverpool to find a new club and he confirmed he was in talks with Belgian club Anderlecht. According to the Star though, Villa could yet step in to take the 30 year old off Liverpool’s hands.

Who says KK wants Downing? These reports are all media speculation. Has Kenny ever come out and said he wants a particular player? No and he wont, because he has taken the club back to what he believes in and calls the Liverpool Way. I know some of our younger fans don’t understand his methods, but if they believe in Kenny they will have to learn the art of patience because KK is not about to change his ways to suit them.
And finally after the last few weeks surely people have realised what a load of liars and con merchants our press are and not just Murdochs morons.
The only alarming issue is that the transfer deadline will arrive and the most positions that are required will be left as is.
