So what do we know about Liverpool’s new striker signing?

|

Bijev has really come to prominence in the last two years though. He scored over 20 goals for Odyssey’s U16s last year as he helped them to a second place finish in the league, and he has averaged a goal a game this year. For his exploits he has been called up to play for the US’s U18 side and his last appearances came in the Lisbon International Tournament back in May.

He was also last month invited to become part of USFC SuperElite tour by John Spencer, a program which has also produced some promising young stars, but Bijev opted to take up a trial with Liverpool.

On his trial, he impressed Liverpool’s coaches enough in a 45 minute appearance against Stevenage Borough for the U18s to give him a contract. In the 8-0 win, he scored a hat trick, as well as winning a penalty and setting up another goal. Here’s some highlights of the match:

get a life slater, the youngster is a marvel n gog is better then carroll if there’s a playmaker to compliment him,Do you really watch football or follow the lfc?,don’t think so.

Red33 thank good I found someone who has some sense. People really put down put down Ngog he isn’t as bad as people make him out to be. You and I know he isn’t going to part of the team next season I hope whatever he goes he proves all the idiots wrong and I think after a decent run of games he will start showing what he’s about people forget he is still young. As for AC biggest waste of money he needs to score a minimum of 25 goals to be worth that sort of money every season

Andy Carrol just needs good service….once he gets that we will see him scoring goals..against man city we saw what he is capable of..At Newcastle he had Nolan and Gutiérrez to provide him with fine crosses and corners…now that we have Downing who can provide accurate crosses we will surely see Andy scoring goals…Andy maybe over-priced…but its not his fault..its the clubs which decide the price…M very sure thaat under Kenny’s guidance Andy will surely turn out to be one of the best in the league….

blessed are those that did not expect much, for they shall not be disapointed.

Why do we always results to long balls and neglect pass and move once carrol is playing?
