Birmingham defender and rumoured Liverpool target Scott Dann has said that although he is focused on Birmingham City, he is an ambitious player:
“Obviously I’m an ambitious person and I want to play at the top level. Everyone who knows me knows that. I don’t really want to comment on speculation. Things have been said in the press and it’s always like that. Up until now I’m still a Birmingham City player. Obviously players have moved on and I’m still here. Until anything happens otherwise I’m still a Birmingham player. I can’t say much more really.”
Dann added he has been concentrating on his recovery from injury:
“From a personal point of view I’ve just been concentrating on getting myself fit. I missed the end of the season last year and I’ve been determined to get myself back fit and back playing games. I’ve done that, I’m back and ready to go now and just looking forward to the season.”

I remember seeing an interview with this bloke before and the only ambition he evidently possessed was the wish to end the interview as quickly as possible.
