Uruguayan side Nacional’s club director Alejandro Balbi has confirmed that the club is looking to set up a partnership with Liverpool:

“We will meet in the next few weeks to come to an arrangement over an exchange programme. Liverpool have seen that a lot of talent has come through our Academy in recent years – not just Luis Suarez and Sebastian Coates, but 14 of the 23 who won the Copa America, and so they expressed an interest in establishing a formal connection.”

The club is hoping to set up an exchange programme lasting 5 years according to the Liverpool Echo.

This week it is former LFC WAG Gisela Molinero!!

i am really impressed with the strides Liverpool are making in the South American football market, it has always worried me about how other clubs find it so easy to sign SA players but Liverpool always miss out, at last the new regime have got it right.
