Chances Created but why are we not converting?

|

Finishing is by far the most critical attribute in any top class football team, and you only have to look at Manchester City who spent close to £40million on a consummate finisher such as Sergio Aguero to know that. We have spent £35million on Andy Carroll to such a job, but patience will be needed.

At 22, he will need time, and as Damien Comolli said to Liverpoolfc.tv yesterday, the signings that have been made have the long term in mind:

“It’s not a work for one season, it’s a work for two, three, four seasons, especially when you are investing in young players, as we’ve done. Hopefully we’ll reflect back on the summer of 2011 – which was crucial, we knew that – and then we’ll be happy with the work we’ve done.”

The likes of Henderson, Carroll and Suarez are all still in their early twenties. They will develop as players, and their talents along with their finishing will develop over time. Considering these factors, the Reds should not be overly concerned about the immediate present, especially due to the promise which has already been on display.

Because Liverpool are professional letdown merchants and spineless chokers, constantly talking the talk and not walking the walk, despite having more than enough ability to steamroll dross like Stoke City and Sunderland, they build our hopes up and then knock them down again and again and again.

Really sad for arguably the best team in the Country when playing well.

I strongly believe we will come good. But 1st to do is to start next n future games with ELEVEN players. We drop Henderson and we’ll get results we need and we can let him in slowly as he is for the future. He is far from ready n we don’t need to drop points to experiment. We risk losing points and Suarez to Madrid if we still start him.

Maybe the more accurate but less hysterical title should be ….why didn’t we, instead of why aren’t we.

A team of giants park the bus and a team that has only played together less than 5 games all told and you think we are this or we are that

Against Arsenal we created bugger all but got the goals to win the game.

It’s pathetic to make these stupid statements, we are a team that needs to develop, give them half a season before making claims that we are this or we are that

Our objective is to get into the Champs League, we’re not ready to compete yet for titles, do you not know anything about football

As for the tosser at the top of the page, well I guess Liverpool can do without that type of ‘support’

If you dont like it go and watch West Brom for riveting football, or Chelsea with their £50m strikers eh

Ged, I am with you mate!!!!
The players had just started playing together. How many new players starting for us this year? Nobody talked about taht, instead we a moaning about losing about stoke as if it is the end of the world for LFC. Come on you LFC fans….The season had just STARTED!!!!!!!!!!
      YNWA!!!!

Because Andy Carroll is not as good as dzeko or Rooney.

We’re only looked at as choke artists cause they’re doing so well. We lost one nil to stoke AWAY and all the pundits and media cry “Liverpool under performing”. It’s always the same crap. Our squad is good, I like the look of it and the feel.

So the rest can piss off and wait for tomorrow.

    YNWA
