Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has been looking forward to the match against Tottenham on Sunday:
“The mood in training has been fine and the players know they performed to an acceptable standard obviously without the required result against Stoke. We have to make sure when we go to Tottenham on Sunday that we put in an acceptable performance, only this time make sure we get the required result. We have to respect Tottenham because we know they have some good players and they are a good team, but we have to concentrate on ourselves. They are one of the teams we have to look to target this season to make sure we finish above them. “We are working to build something here and I think the performances so far have been really encouraging and we’ll try to take that forward and continue that as the season progresses.”
Dalglish will have to go into the match without Glen Johnson who aggravated a hamstring injury in his substitute appearance against Stoke last week.

u r nothing but a great,great fool
Haha, laouda you simpleton. You can’t spell, or add.
Well done ‘Whataclown’, within insulting a previous persons spelling and addition you’ve shown your lack of ability in understanding simple grammar.
Should be a good competition between Liverpool and Spurs this season.
Spurs in my opinion have a stronger squad, however, i feel Harry Redknapp lacks the tactical prowess needed to progress his team into Europes top competition.
as a spurs fan we always judge the liverpool as one of the biggest tests of the season. after kenny spending loads in the last two windows it is liverpool who are under pressure.
you are correct that if it comes to tactics then liverpool will win but we all know a bit of skill or mistake will probably decide this game and if suarez plays all the game then you will get three points if he is on the bench then three points will be ours,
Unless the or add’ was an afterthought which he wanted to get across in his grammar.
really looking forward to the game Spurs v Liverpool has always been a match worth watching, from the jimmy greaves and roger hunt days till present! may the best team on the day win.
“Dalglish: We have to make sure we finish above them
