Former Liverpool forward Dani Pacheco has talked about his time with the Reds. He told Goal.com:

“It is true that my situation really changed with the departure of Benitez and my progress halted a bit then. I needed to feel at home in order to prove my worth. I don’t want to say that I was tired of English football and that I won’t ever return there, because it’s really competitive and it’s a great league. However, I felt that my time at Liverpool was up.”

Pacheco feels he has learned a lot from his time in England:

“I have a learned a lot at Liverpool. To be moving to such a big club with a world renowned coach and a lot of famous players at the tender age of 16 gave me a lot and I have really grown as a player and a person. I am now looking to put into practice what I’ve learned in the past few years. I had no more opportunities at Liverpool to do that. I needed a change of scenery in order to continue developing.”
