Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish was full of praise for Luis Suarez after his performance against Wolves at the weekend:

“He is Luis Suarez. He is a fantastic player and it is not fair to compare him with others who have been here before. Does he benefit from working with me? I don’t know – I don’t speak espanol! I don’t know where he gets his ideas from but he is full of them and he certainly knows how to play. The fans take to him because he is so genuine and 100 per cent committed. The crowd love players like that. He has his own ideas and he is full of them. He is just a fantastic player.”

Dalglish believes the Uruguayan’s unpredictability makes him an exceptional player:

“Suarez was awesome. He never does what you expect him to. You think he is going to pull the trigger, then he cuts it back. You think he is going to come short and he cuts in behind you. He is just a really good player. He is something else.”

If Dalglish knows suarez is a fantastic player, he should stop under-playing him. He should be allowèed to play 90minutes like other players like Rooney, Messi, Ronaldo are allowed to do. And not substituting him when players who don’t even know how to control ball like carroll are allowed full time. Please Dalglish learn from your fellow scot Sir Alex.

Dude……..we call him king for a reason!
When he gets this team clicking……it will be old bacon face asking kenny for advice!!!!

  • Shajahan says:

To be fair… Suarez needz a rest after the Copa America. If he keeps playing he will burn out at the end of the season and we will regret the decisons we made earlier on.

    • Ynwa says:

NONSENCE……Does Messi needs resting?, he plays week in week out. We will be playing mostly one game per week, being out of europe, so give it a rest, with all this resting crap!

    • Moocher says:

Well said. We can get selfish and want him to play all the time but we have to be sensible.

    • Ynwa says:

Oops…*NONSENSE*……Does Messi needs resting?, he plays week in week out. We will be playing mostly one game per week, being out of europe, so give it a rest, with all this resting crap!

  • Mike Arms says:

Suarez invariably gets subbed late on because he is knackered, he works so hard and is still only in his infancy in the EPL. So Kenny is right to bring him off, tiredness causes injury and Kenny is bright enough to know if he gets injured we will struggle.

    • Jack says:

KK is obviously bright enough to realise that Suarez is the only decent purchase he has made thus far. If resting the most potent player and leaving on the playing field an over-rated, over-priced, technically-inept DONKEY and his 2 supporting midfield MULES is the correct thing to do, then “Houston, we have a problem”.

  • RedMan123 says:

    Agree with Ynwa.

the likes of messi, ronaldo, and rooney will play every minute of every game each week, their not rested. Im all for letting others have a chance but at the expense of your clearly most influential player on the pitch… nuh uhh.

1 full game a week is not going to hurt now is it ? Suarez is more than capable of that lets be honest. Even if we had Europe i would expect him to start and play for the majority of the time.

Think about they get paid ex ammount of money a week to play 90 min of football 1 maybe 2 times a week. where theres people out there working 40 – 50 maybe plus hours a week to bring home the little ammount of £300 a week. Who really needs the rest :P.

  • Adrian says:

What does salary have to do with anything? Without Suarez there is no top 4. The season relies on his fitness. I would rather see him stay on too, but if the king thinks he needs a rest, there’s 8 minutes left and up 2-1 then so be it.
Messi, Rooney and Ronaldo haven’t lasted as long in their recent international tournaments.

  • Deji Omole says:

Suarez was God sent in january to LFC after Torres left. He has been fantastic in each and every match he had played for LFC be it @ Anfield or anywhere. King Kenny should find a way of settling the issue of substituting him in a match where there are flop players not performing on the field. Suarez has been substituted in some matches where Henderson and Carroll were left on the field. In KK i trust.

  • jasbir says:

Whichsoever, match we won Kenny’s contribution was nil. These are the player who make difference. Whichsoever, Match we lost those were due to Kenny’s poor team selection and his more emphasising and dependence on Carrol. We could vary easily win against sunderland if we had not played carrol whole 90 minutes. We would also had won the match against stock if we would had started with Bellmey and koyt instead of Carrol and Henderson.

Just to justify his decision of spending he is ruining liverpool. Due to his arrogance brilliant cole and aqualani’s are performing for other clubs and we are carrying the burden of carrol, handerson and adm.

  • Davie says:

Some decisions that are made by Kenny are a bit bizarre. The logical substitution would have been Carrol off wouldnt it? But Kenny probably wanted to give Carrol more playing time to build up his confidence/fitness. As long as the players are gelling/improving & the teams winning i am happy.

    • Jack says:

Frankly, the longer Carroll spends playing on the pitch, the more he will lose his confidence. This donkey disguised as a striker is simply too lazy, ultra-slow, technically-deficient, over-rated, over-priced and a hinderance to the ‘play and move’ culture of the club.

  • Igwe Ejike says:

Kenny shouldn’t have subbed him because suarez wants to play i think he’s capable of playing the whole matches and ‘re not in europe

  • kinsmay says:

He should just stop the usage of Henderson and Carrol for 90 min if he is going to use them at all, though Carrol has improved our match against wolves proved that, because it is very obvious he wants to justify their buy by fielding them while other better players are on the bench, without change of attitude God forbids, LFC will continue to struggle and with that kind of treatment to our best player (Suarez)presently,i am afraid we will not be able to keep him (Suarez)for Long King K wake up,we can`t afford to lose the top 4 again this season, pair Suarez and any of these players upfront (Bellamy,Kuyt and Maxi)while The master himself Captain Fantastic play behind them with Lucas and Charlie holding at the midfield you will see best of Liverpool. YNWA

  • LFC Fan says:

Hey, We should all trust King Kenny’s decision whether it is to sub a player or the team’s selection. That’s because KK is the club’s rightful manager. Guys, the season’s still early, how could we compare the players of EPL to other leagues? Geez, you realise you’re questioning KK’s way of managing the club? to oneself expert opinions?

    In KING KENNY, I trust

  • sims says:

    Hoi..
Let carrol n suarez play together,so they will know each other well, don’t worry about anything, when captain fantastic along with them, goals will marching in.the captain and downing will serve all the striker, while adam and lucas secure defense, jordan will be agood subsitute to stevie, and kuyt to suarez.when carrol find his way,he is going to be “shearer”when he was in blacburn.
