I’m still struggling to know where this team is at

|

From there on though, the game kind of got set in a very particular rhythm. Everton rarely ventured forward and kept every man behind the ball while Liverpool just played in front of them until the first goal came. Everton were there for the taking to some extent but it was interesting to see that despite having most of the possession, the Reds had only had 10 shots on goal to Everton’s six before Carroll broke the deadlock.

The 4-4-2 system again look disjointed at times and despite a few flourishes from the likes of Adam and Suarez, the pass and move football that we hope to see from Liverpool was notable by its absence.

On a much more positive note though, it was good to see Andy Carroll score his first goal of the season. I am still worried he is spending too much time outside the penalty box , and although he is certainly playing closer to Suarez, he is also playing a lot deeper to get involved in play, meaning he is not always in threatening positions.

Other than that, it is clear the Reds still have a few teething problems to sort out before Manchester United visit. It should be an open match if both teams play 4-4-2 and I wonder what King Kenny has in store for that match?

By rights the noses should have really been down to 8 by the end of the game, they are the dirtiest team in the premiership Hibbert and Cahill being the worst.

    of the point now
3 players I’ll love to see get injured(2-3 weeks) or suspended are:
    1) Skrtel: Coates will get a run of games n much needed game time.
2)Adam: Gerard will start n Spearing may/will get some game time.
3)Kuyt: so Maxi can get some game time or be in the match squad.
I dont fink any of these (preconceived mild injuries or suspensions will leave the team in a bad place)
*Note* Now b4 dem can*i*als try to eat me alive, am just paintin a picture. no banter pls
