A Year On, Did The Reds Dive In Too Quickly For Carroll?

|

There was no way Newcastle were going to let him go for pennies but I think Carroll at most should have been £15 Million. The transfer would not hav gone through that way but is that a bad thing? £35 million can buy you a great player thats already established himself as world class, so why did Liverpool dive in so quickly?

I think Liverpool panicked after selling Torres to Chelsea. It seems it was the right call to move the Spaniard on when they did but they then seemed to think they needed to spend all the money instantly when to be honest the transfer of Luis Suarez would have been enough. Like I said, if they wanted to spend £35 million on a player they could have got alot more.

Maybe Carroll will turn his season around and have a bright, illustrious career for both Liverpool and England but he needs to improve, a lot. Persistent rumours float around saying he is homesick but this is not a good enough excuse. Carroll needs to look into and work on his ability overwise he might find the board looking his contract and contribution to the club.

Well done… quit saying what everyone else is saying and give him some time… the fact is thats a signed contract and its not going to change just because you get bit keyboard happy and write about. Leave him to it and he may or may not come good. Writing about it wont change a thing and certainly won’t make him better.

Carrolline is utter garbage.. and the sooner we are rid of that piece of trash the sooner we can bring in someone with actual talent, and not an overrated Brit.. I mean players with real talent.. not just overhyped media talent..

Everyone relax already. He’ll come good. I don’t hear anybody complaining about Suarez only having 5 goals and he plays almost every minute of every game. Sturridge has 8 and Grant holt has 9 which is half of all the goals we scored so far. Relax.

… and Jordi Gomez, a midfielder at Wigan just scored his fourth.

As poor as his form has been he’s still scored more goals than Torres.
