2. Full seasons from Gerrard and Suarez

|

Steven Gerrard played only 18 league games for Liverpool last season, less than half of the total available and his lowest since he broke into the team in the 1998/99 season. He looked sharp at the European Championships, and there’s no question that if he plays anything like a full season, he will bring goals, both from the point of view of creating and scoring chances. Similarly, we should all be rightly hopeful that a full season from Luis Suarez – without an eight game ban in the middle of it – will give him the opportunity to create and score more goals as the lynchpin of Rodgers’ attack.

Jimmy Areabi (Editor) - @fantasista1077: Huyton raised like Steven Gerrard, football has been my passion since the time I received a Kenny Dalglish badge as a toddler, and I've followed the Reds ever since – something that was easier during the 80s, when I worshipped John Barnes! I've produced work for many football media outlets & am now happy to run a major site on the club I love - providing our fans with a voice, and to bring as much information and news on the club as possible.
Having played football all my life, I aim to continue longer than Stanley Matthews...
