Ten Potential Bosmans for Liverpool Next Summer – Part Two

Lichsteiner is a solid, if unspectacular, player

Stephan Lichtsteiner (Juventus)
Perhaps not the most impressive option, as well as being on the wrong side of 30, yet Stephan Lichtsteiner carries plenty of experience and brings a winning mentality with three Serie A titles for Juventus and a Coppa Italia for Lazio. Lichtsteiner is a typically modern full-back, with attacking tendencies, a high level of crossing as well as pace and stamina.

A move for Lichtsteiner would only make sense should Glen Johnson depart, replacing the experience of the England international. However, Brendan Rodgers may decide to keep faith with the young guns, such as Javi Manquillo, Jon Flanagan and Alberto Moreno.

Yet should both Johnson and Jose Enrique leave the club next season, then an older full-back would complete the quartet perfectly. Lichtsteiner could be the solution to that problem, especially if Rodgers would rather allocate funds elsewhere.
