Contracts are very much the hot topic. Hotter than me in this years Swimsuit calendar (thankfully not available anywhere). Off the top of my head I can think of 3 players, Sterling, Henderson and Coutinho, who we need to get signed up.
One thing I have heard from Gerrard in relation to LA Galaxy was how aggressive they were in recruiting him. For years we have been far too nice, too complacent and too arrogant in contract dealings, McManaman, Owen, Gerrard in 2005! Get them signed up, get some good feelings flowing.
you are right. my dilemma is whether to blame Rodgers for all these or fsg. I concur with you on the samy hyppia issue and also the retention of our good players. lovren is bad. but I don’t know whether its the tactical defense training that’s a problem or the personnel.
