Wing backs
Adam Lallana – It’s quite hard to judge Lallana’s display, given how many different positions he was used in. Both wing back roles and moving behind Sturridge for 30 minutes. As ever, he worked like a dog and offered a good running outlet. Rating – 6.5
Alberto Moreno – Like Can, Moreno was not at his best and looked likely to receive a second yellow on a number of occasions. Seemed to be aware he was having a poor game though and will hopefully be much improved for Sunday. Rating – 6
Glad you went with a joint man of the match. Thought both were dererving but got to say, Skrtel is looking immense.
Ibe’s injury is a blow to our team – as Markovic is average & Lallana cannot defend. The most worrying is the pathetic form of Sturidge. It was as if we were one man short with Sturidge against Swansea – he could not press;could not pass &could not defend.. Our other three strikers are nothing but disappointment. The lesson here is that we must look for a striker of Surez class in other to truly become great again.
